Invite to Re-Thinking Engagement Learning workshop

  • How do we engage better with citizens on the decisions that affect their lives?
  • What opportunities and challenges arise when creating spaces for dialogue?

If you are interested in community engagement or if it’s part of your role then this workshop will share lessons from the Rethinking Engagement Project developed and delivered by Rural Community Network and Community Places.

The Keynote speaker, Dr Claire Bynner from the University of Glasgow will reflect on insights from Scotland on her work on citizen engagement and participatory democracy.  Dr Bynner is research associate with What Works Scotland an initiative that is working to improve the way local areas in Scotland use evidence to make decisions about public service development and reform.   .
