Springboard Opps launched a peacebuilding documentary with young people during Good Relations Week 2026.

The Community Relations Council supports the organisation through its Core Funding Scheme.

The Two Sides to Every Wall documentary was launched Queen's Film Theatre (QFT) and included a panel discussion. The event explored the role and impact of peace walls within communities, placing young people's experiences and perspectives at the centre of the discussion.

Springboard Opportunities worked in collaboration with NI Screen and Cameron Turley (Off Brand) to create the documentary, which followed young people as they reflected on how the legacy of conflict continues to shape their lives. The film travelled with them to Nicosia, Cyprus, looking at division through an international lens.

The event also featured academic insight from Professor Dominic Bryan followed by a youth-led panel discussion on the realities of living in a divided society. Young people shared their voices and experiences, drawing importance toward their contribution to building a peaceful and inclusive society.

CRC recorded a video interview with participants – to be posted soon.
