Get Real Programme - Supporting Those Involved in Hate-Crime

Get Real is a 3 year PEACE IV funded programme. It will support those involved in hate-crime, their victims and those vulnerable of committing these actions to acknowledge the hurt and damage caused and to move forward with greater understanding and hope.

This will be achieved through three strands:

  • Get Real about Justice: restorative practice interventions with offenders and victims
  • Get Real about Identity: community-based accredited education programmes with those at risk of perpetuating these crimes
  • Get Real about Society: diversity training delivered to criminal justice agencies across Northern Ireland and Ireland to equip public servants with knowledge and skills to work towards acceptance of diversity.

Please get in touch if you are aware of a victim or perpetrator of hate crime who would benefit from engaging in a restorative process.

We are beginning our 8-week community education programmes in Derry/Londonderry, so please contact us if you have individuals or a group who may benefit from this training.
