Derry Central Library Presents: Women’s lives and the troubles: a panel discussion

Thursday, 22nd November, 12.00 – 2.30pm

A special one-day seminar will be held as part of the ‘Speeches Strikes and Struggles’ series.  Consisting of three separate panels, each will be held in different locations around the city, and hosted by a member of the Peter Moloney College Partnership; Tower Museum, Libraries NI and The Museum of Free Derry.
 
From 12noon – 2.30pm Derry Central Library will host a panel focusing on the Women's lives and the troubles:

Panellist 1 – Maureen Hetherington, Director of the Junction
Panellist 2 – Grainne McCafferty, former Principal of St. Cecilia's College
Panellist 3 – Hazel Philson, Local Author, Historian and Poet
 
It will be followed at 3pm-5pm by a discussion at the Nerve Visual Gallery, Ebrington on Conflict Art. The Seminar will conclude with a session at 7pm – 8.30pm hosted by the Museum of Free Derry looking at the Reform of the Londonderry Corporation.
