This new project commencing week beginning 18th February is funded by the Community Relations Council through the Community Relations & Cultural Diversity Grant Scheme.
Working in partnership with Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich and Falls Women’s Centre Building Bridges – Care will work to bring migrant families new to Northern Ireland together with families who have been long term residents of Belfast.
The project will involve workshops leading to two public performances at the end of March
We are looking for women, children and young people ( boys under 11 years only) to participate in workshops, over six weeks, with community artist facilitators through dance, music and storytelling to explore their own identities against the common ground and similar life experiences that they share.We particularly encourage women who were resident in West Belfast in the 1970s is to get involved.
