Transforming Conflict: Flags and Emblems

This report explores issues surrounding the use of flags and emblems in Northern Ireland. It concentrates
on disputes over the flying of official and popular flags but also, by association, relates to other practices
such as the writing of graffiti, the painting of murals, the erection of arches and bonfires and the creation
of memorials.
