This research was commissioned by the Community Relations Council (CRC) and carried out on their behalf between May and September 2007. It was conducted with a view to its recommendations being used to feed into the work of the Community Relations Council as it responds to further policy developments in the sector, including the work of the Victims’ Commissioner. The research had the particular aim of capturing the voices and experiences of those groups and individuals funded through the Council’s Victims’ Programme, referred to here as the sector. It asked groups to consider the opportunities and challenges the sector faces in the context of developing shared working in terms of policy and practice.
