Safeguarding the valuable contributions made by community-led research projects is at the heart of the AHRC-funded “WW1 Community Platform.”
It has been created by the Centre for Data Digitisation and Analysis in collaboration with the Living Legacies 1914-18 WW1 Engagement Centre, and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Since launching in May earlier this year, their dedicated IT and Research teams have been refining the digital portal's functionality, including improving search ability and streamlining content classifications.
They have also added a resources section which includes links to best practice guidelines on digital resources and archiving.
