This intercultural training will use the arts as a tool to explore what makes us human, to help celebrate the similarities and differences between us and to develop empathy for others. At the end of the training participants will feel more cultural competent and will be able to apply what they have learnt when working with people from diverse backgrounds. This training is for artists, arts managers and administrators, producers, community and youth workers. There are limited places which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Participants need to commit to all three training days and be able to get to Newcastle as no transport is provided.

The PICAS training course is facilitated by Charo Lanao-Madden
