Musicians from marching bands in Northern Ireland and heavy rock musicians were doubled booked into a Belfast Music recording session in the Start Together Recording Studios in Belfast. The result of this intriguing fusion is a band called Marching Metal.
This project was developed by Beyond Skin (who are core funded by the Community Relations Council) and was delivered as part of Make Music Day 2021.
The band’s first single – an interpretation of The Star of the County Down – is now available to watch.
