“Learning for Living Together”

If Colleges are truly important in educating and training our future generation of global citizens alongside promoting social inclusion, how do they prepare now?

The role of providing relevant education and training has been the College’s primary role since its inception. However, increasingly, Colleges are placing more focus on welcoming and developing their students for a global marketplace.  They have also built up years of specialist skills and knowledge and are engaging with a range of countries around the world.

You are invited to a special conference “Learning for Living Together” to hear of some of results on how Colleges are promoting social inclusion and diversity.  You will also hear from people actively involved in the development of internationalisation, global collaboration as well as mobility of students and staff within educational and community situations.

The event will be held on Tuesday 30 April at the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown, County Armagh from 9.30am-3pm to share in best practice case studies of engaging globally.   During this event, you will gain new insights into the knowledge and experiences from a variety of organisations who are involved in this work.

There will also be opportunities to attend practical workshops to gain more in-depth knowledge and understanding of a variety of approaches, the subsequent results and on-going developments.  Examples of international funding sources will also be shared.

The event is free but places are limited so we would encourage you to register by Wednesday 12tApril 2019
