The Community Relations Council and The Executive Office were delighted to work alongside Business in the Community to organise the most recent T:BUC Engagement Forum, which took place on 1 March 2022.

170 participants heard from business leaders and civil servants about the importance of government connecting with the private sector to deliver positive change in the community.

John Healy, Managing Director of Allstate NI, who delivered a talk at the event, has now written an insightful article about how businesses are working together to build united communities.

In addition to being the MD of Allstate NI, John is also a board member of Business in the Community NI; Chair of BITC Place Leadership team; and the Prince’s Ambassador for Responsible Business in Northern Ireland.

John believes that Allstate’s mission statement “resonates with the purpose of Business in the Community – to inspire and support business to be a force for good.”
