Each quarter, the Community Relations Council provides a Shared Learning Forum to develop key skills and techniques for our core funded groups.
At our last event, we invited Google Digital Garage to present two courses:
- Social Media Strategy
- Writing for Social Media.
The training took place in the wonderful setting of the 174 Trust Duncairn Centre, and Google presented to a full house of people eager to discover new ways to community their stories through social media.
Social Media Strategy
For aspiring social media marketers who want advice on how to develop a tone of voice that suits their business on social media, this course also explored how to create compelling digital content.
Writing for Social Media
Participants learned how to create a social media strategy based on achievable individual business goals, and how to utilise best practice for social media. As part of the course, attention was given to defining a bespoke set of brand guidelines.
Google Digital Garage
Google Digital Garage is based at Arthur Square, Belfast. Free training is provided to grow your career and business, as well as one-on-one mentoring.
