‘Get your voice heard: a conversation on including young people in decision making’ funded by NBSGRP

Ardoyne Youth Enterprise is hosting a series of events entitled AYE Matter. These events aim to empower young people and local communities by supporting community cohesion and conversations around community transformation.
Our next event is entitled: ‘Get your voice heard: a conversation on including young people in decision making’.
Ardoyne Youth Enterprise is delighted to announce that Lord Mayor Deirdre Hargey and representatives from Belfast Youth Forum will be speaking at this event.

We would like to invite you and young people from your organisation to attend this event. It will be a great opportunity for young people to hear from the Lord Mayor and Youth Forum about how their work affects them, as well as to talk about the issues that matter to them. There will be food, music by local brothers Michael and Dominic Mullan, and an interactive space for young people to post their thoughts. We can help with letters for early release from school or college.

Please RSVP to Catherine Couvert (catherine@ardoyne.org) by Thursday 20 December.

Event details are as follows:

1.45pm – 3pm, Wednesday 9 January 2019
Houben Centre, 432 Crumlin Road, Belfast, BT14 7GE

Please don’t hesitate to contact myself (shane@ardoyne.org) or Catherine Couvert our Communications Officer (catherine@ardoyne.org) if you have any questions.
