Eastside Arts Festival

The aim is to "strip away the politics that divide our society, by showcasing the languages, cultures and heritages that unite it traditionally."

This exhibition and cultural event is hosted as part of the Peace And Reconcile Arts and Cultural Programme.

Documentary visual artist Lise McGreevy will host an afternoon of art and culture to showcase the Ulster Scots and Irish heritages.

Lise will also facilitate an art workshop to entertain children (suitable for 4 – 8 years old), while the adults get to relax and enjoy Northern Irish ballads by NI Opera, Irish,/Scottish songs by Fergus Woods, traditional Irish ballads by Lucy Bell and original poetry by Jim Johnston.

Tea and coffee refreshments provided.

Event Details

The event is taking place in Tullycarnet Library, Belfast, on Saturday 10 August at 1.45pm.

Selected pieces will also be displayed at St Mary's University College, Falls Road, from 1 – 8 August as part of the Feile An Phobail festival in West Belfast.
