"Celebrating our Common Christian Heritage" is a community education programme and inter-church project by The Churches Trust.
It includes participants from various faith traditions and none, within the Derry City and Strabane and Donegal Council areas.
The programme will involve exploring a common Christian Heritage with particular emphasis on the relevance of the Columba/St Colmcille heritage in the North West.
This project will be part of the celebrations of the 1,500th anniversary of Columba.
The programme will involve a number of workshops and study visits over the next 15 months, concluding with a public celebration event.
The project is supported by the European Union’s PEACE IV programme, managed by the Special EU programmes body (SEUPB)
