ARK seminar A welcoming Northern Ireland? Understanding sentiment towards asylum seekers and refugees

A welcoming Northern Ireland? Understanding sentiment towards asylum seekers and refugees, by Lucy Michael (Ulster University),

22 November 2018, at NICVA, 2.45 to 4.00 pm. Refreshments will be available at 2.30

In this seminar, Lucy Michael will review data from the Northern Ireland Life and Times Survey and Young Life and Times Survey on attitudes to refugees, asylum seekers and ethnic minorities. In addition, she will consider the extent to which refugees both represent a unique focus for attention within the immigrant population and also offer a proxy for other kinds of views on immigration.

This event is free of charge, but places need to be booked by Thursday 15 November, by emailing s.grant@ulster.ac.uk
