Over the past few years Intercomm have been developing and delivering programmes and projects that are addressing issues in and around the North Belfast interfaces. This would include work with residents, young people and people from ethnic backgrounds. Intercomm continues to play a positive role within Ardoyne, Twaddell, and Woodvale. We are also delivering training with residents and PSNI through are multi agency meetings that help shape and develop programmes concerned with community safety. All programmes are delivered on a cross community basis or single identity leading to sustained cross community contact. We also run a number of learning/study events open to all and feature experts on particular subjects related to difficult issues including Policing, dealing with the past, youth, history and culture. More recently we have formed a partnership with Duncairn Arts and Cultural Centre to explore how the Arts can be used as a positive intervention for good relations.
