The Together: Building a United Community (T:BUC) Strategy, launched in 2013, reflects the Executive’s commitment to building a united society. Since then significant progress has been made – a number of the headline actions set out in the Strategy have been fully achieved, with significant progress made across others.
However, it is recognised that there is more to do and there is a need to ensure that the T:BUC Strategy continues to reflect the current needs of Northern Ireland society and work for all in the community. Therefore, officials are conducting a review of the Strategy to understand what has worked well and identify potential areas for improvement.
As part of this review, TEO would like to engage with stakeholders of the Strategy and are keen to ensure that all interested parties have an opportunity to provide feedback to inform the review. To allow this, three workshops have been planned – two in-person events and one online event. The events will involve a series of small group discussions across a range of topics, with the face-to-face events being followed by lunch.
