DAERA launched a public consultation on draft proposals for a long-term rural policy for Northern Ireland.
The consultation, Rural NI: Our New Approach 2026–2041, closes 01 June 2026.
The proposals have been developed with input from a wide range of stakeholders, including central and local government, rural voluntary and community groups, and academics.
A series of consultation events will also be held across the region, both in person and online – full details in the link below.
