Londonderry Bands Forum have their Christmas Gala Concert in the Guildhall, Londonderry, on Wednesday 18 December 2019.
The gala show will feature Londonderry Bands Forum member bands Britannia Concert Band, Churchill Flute Band, Hamilton Flute Band and William King Memorial Flute Band.
This year also features Bready Ulster Scots Pipe Band and Lisnagelvin Primary School Choir for the first time.
Event Details
The first half of this year show features popular music such as the main theme to “How to train your dragon,” “Jitterbug” and “The Rock.” It also features “The Frog Chorus” performed by Lisnagelvin Primary School. The second half of the show features Christmas music including “Christmas Spectacular,” “Aventum,” as well as themes to Christmas films “Polar Express” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
It promises to be a spectacular night of music and singing from local children and amateur musicians.
