Celebrating Black History Month
The event takes place in Belfast City Hall on Friday 13 October 2023 at 12:15pm.
Twenty-five years on from the Good Friday Agreement, what has changed for women of Afro-Caribbean descent in Belfast, and what remains to be done? UK Pivot will lead this lunchtime chat to discuss and to celebrate Black History Month.

North Belfast Lantern Festival
The event takes place in Alexandra Park on Saturday 28 October 2023.
Delivered and managed by New Lodge Arts, this event is supported through Belfast City Council’s Safer Communities programme (BCC7) under Good Relations. The event aims to develop more meaningful engagement on a cross-community basis and promote the use of shared space.
The festival will include three hours of free family fun from 12 noon to 3pm. A ticketed evening session, running from 5.30pm will include music from a Harry Styles tribute act and the grand finale fireworks display at 8pm.
