This event celebrates the existing diversity within the Causeway community. The evening will create an open forum to showcase Indian culture through art, movement, smell, and taste, to make it accessible for everyone to experience regardless of their own background or abilities. The event marks the end of an engagement programme which explored the practical and cultural aspects of Indian visual arts.

A performance of the play Meeke and the Major, produced and performed by BCRC, Dervock Community Association and Benvarden Orange Lodge. The play focuses on the Centenary of the Battle of Messines and reminds audiences today of the cultural importance of this battle.

Schools in the Ballycastle area will be invited along to this ‘Music is the Dialogue’ event with special guests Mark Smulian and Gani Tamir from Heartbeat.fm. Supported by Libraries NI, Arts Council NI, Comic Relief, IBIS Belfast Hotel, CRC and Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council, the event will highlight how an arts-driven approach to peacebuilding can be just as effective as traditional methods and equally engaging for young people.
