Citizens Wallpaper – Captivating Photographic Exhibition by APAC

Citizens Wallpaper | NICRC

A captivating photographic exhibition by APAC – Associated Photojournalism for Art and Culture, in association with Community Arts Partnership (CAP) and Ballymoney camera clubs – will display 24 representations from its Citizens Wallpaper project.

The Community Relations Council supported the project through its CR/CD Small Grants Scheme.

Understanding and Respect

APAC was formed to promote understanding and respect between cultures using visual and performing arts, especially photojournalism and documentary photography, drama, performance and music.

APAC have been supported over many years for their Citizens Wallpaper project spanning from its beginning in 2012 to its completion date of 2021. CRC’s Small Grants Scheme has supported each year as it developed through each stage.

The project encourages communities throughout Northern Ireland to visually record their lives and culture to join an ever-expanding documentary reflecting Northern Ireland's diversity in a positive and respectful way.
