Barclays Community Support – Grants Available

Barclays Community Support | NICRC

Barclays Bank is now offering services based around community engagement and how to better support communities in Northern Ireland. They are providing free materials, face-to-face sessions and support, including the opportunity to visit local community groups to ascertain how Barclays can offer further support.

Highlights of services offered:

  • Fraud and scams roadshows are available for local communities, including the use of the Barclays Van to engage communities outside of centres, too.
  • LifeSkills: upskilling the community on getting into work, and support when in work, CV workshops, interview skills, how to read a payslip, budgeting, and more.
  • Digital Wings: an extensive online training portal for people to upskill with everything from basic computer skills to Microsoft applications, and even more advanced skills such as coding.
  • Financial wellbeing days available to engage communities about help with cost of living, savings goals, budgeting, and mortgage advice.

Community Sports Grant Scheme

Grants are currently available for community sport. The scheme supports applications for community support grants for football, tennis and cricket clubs.
