You are being invited to participate in a study being conducted at Ulster University in the School of Applied Social and Policy Sciences.
The researcher is a postgraduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Peace and Conflict Studies, and this research study – which will inform the dissertation – forms part of his MSc degree assessment.
This research study will explore how Northern Irish community relations policy - promoting reconciliation, trust, and tolerance among various communities, including Protestants and Catholics - has evolved since 1998, focusing on how perspectives and theories of reconciliation have informed this policy.
Furthermore, the study will develop a unique reconciliation framework and compare it to current community relations policy.
The vision board workshop will focus on the current social and political climate in Belfast, considering participants’ views of what a united, reconciled society should look like, and what steps are needed to build a unified society.
The workshop takes place 14 August 2025 from 6-8 pm at Ulster University, Belfast.
