Decade of Centenaries Conference: Recalling the events of 1920 – Belfast City Council

The Decade of Centenaries Conference – by Belfast City Council – will explore a number of issues from the 1920s, including the loss of life and displacement of people from neighbourhoods across the City.

The political backdrop to these events and their impact on communities will be explored.

Speakers will include:

  • Liz Gillis
  • Deirdre McBride
  • Dr Alan Parkinson
  • Jim McDermott
  • Dr Brian Barton.

The Nerve Centre will be assisting the organisers to creatively engage with this period.
