The Day of Reflection, held each year on 21 June 2025, is an initiative promoted by Healing Through Remembering, Corrymeela, and the Commission for Victims and Survivors. It provides a meaningful opportunity to pause and reflect on the impact of the conflict in and about Northern Ireland.
This day invites us all to:
- Acknowledge the deep hurt and loss caused by the conflict
- Remember those—men, women, and children—who continue to live with its consequences
- Reflect on our own attitudes and their potential impact on others and on society
- Consider how we might contribute to upholding the rights and dignity of all people
- Commit to ensuring such loss and suffering are never repeated.
The event takes place in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast, Saturday 21 June 2025, 11:30am – 12:30pm.
Whether you have been directly affected or simply wish to stand in solidarity, your presence matters. Let us remember together, reflect together, and move forward together.
