Aims and Objectives

To promote prayer for peace and reconciliation in Ireland. To encourage young people to think about peace; to debate about peace; to write essays on themes of peace; write peace slogans and design peace posters etc.

Projects and Activities

Involved in organising Cork Peace Week, annually, beginning with a concelebrated mass for peace concluding with an ecumenical peace service; organising an international song contest for peace; peace competitions in primary and post-primary schools; present 'Peace People of the Year' award; annual mass for industrial peace, job creation and social justice.
