The aim is to contribute constructively to the pursuit of peace in and between our communities in Northern Ireland. A range of objectives have been established including: developing cross-community contact; providing an informed venue to facilitate challenging dialogue; networking with various community groups/organisations; developing creative and inclusive ministry; promoting anti-oppressive practice and adopting a collaborative rather than competitive peace building approach.
Projects and Activities
Key activities include:
Treadagh Training Team: offering a range of personnel, skills and resources to assist/facilitate community development, conflict resolution and meaningful reconciliation; Talking the Walk: an opportunity for people to come and engage with issues of concern in Northern Ireland; All Those Who Thirst: a supportive and challenging group experience for those involved in ministry.
