Aims and Objectives

To meet the needs of the people of Rasharkin and the surrounding area without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, mental status, race, religion or politics.
To improve their quality of life.
To find out the needs and initiate and carry out projects to address the needs.

Projects and Activities

Community Relations Audit and Action Plan to develop training for a number of groups.
Economic Regeneration - capital build - 6 work spaces and three shops and offices to encourage investment in the area.
Home Security for elderly and vulnerable isolated persons.
Recycling - composting unit.
Annual events - summer gala week and Christmas lighting and Santa Claus.
Monthly fund raising event - eg table quiz.
Providing services for community, photocopying, faxing, wordprocessing, advocacy.
