Aims and Objectives

ICR is an independent research centre which aims to work in partnership with organisations and communities to develop research that has a positive social impact and helps to empower groups and individuals involved in the projects. They also provide training to groups on research methods and work with them in developing research projects.

Projects and Activities

Recent work has included research on:

Racist, homophobic and sectarian violence.
The role of young people in ongoing violence.
Relationships between young people and the police.
Migrant workers in Northern Ireland.
The needs of Victims and Survivors
Relationship between human rights and community relations
