Aims and Objectives

In order to fulfill its mission statement the Centre aims to address the needs of all the community/area of benefit by tackling issues that would hinder the group's vision for a just, equitable and peaceful area with full dignity, freedom and security for all its citizens. Examples of some of the issues are:

Poverty
One-parent families
Drug/alcohol abuse
etc.

These are in many aspects attributed to the conflict.

Projects and Activities

Current activities consist of:

Mediation and Conflict Resolution Training
Capacity building and community development initiatives
Mobile phone network
Cultural awareness/single identity programmes
Housing and Welfare Benefits
The Centre is the lead body in the cross-border, cross-community project partnership "The Other View" with Linc Resource Centre and EXPAC, Co Monaghan.
