Aims and Objectives

One of the consequences of the conflict has been the breakdown of trust and communication between the two sides of the community. Each act of violence, whoever perpetrates it and whatever the reasons, widens that gap. PRG sees the task of reconciliation as the rebuilding of confidence and understanding and the reduction of fear and tension at a personal and community level. The group believes that everyone has to play a part in making peace and making sure there is a working relationship with people at all levels.
