Together: Building a United Community Engagement Forum

We would like to invite you to the fourth T:BUC Engagement Forum

This forum will focus on the T:BUC priority of ‘Our Shared Community’, which aims “to create a community where division does not restrict the life opportunities of individuals and where all areas are open and accessible to everyone”.  It will concentrate on the issue of ‘Reconciliation’, which is an important component of the draft Programme for Government.  The event will also be an opportunity for us to update you on the implementation of T:BUC.

It will take place on

Thursday 15th June 2017, 9.30am – 2.00pm

Girdwood Community Hub, Cliftonpark Avenue, Belfast, BT14 6EG

Keynote speaker Professor Brandon Hamber has undertaken extensive research and consultation on reconciliation, he will discuss his work and ideas which will help stimulate workshop discussions.

There will also be a performance piece from Partisan Productions featuring young people and their views on shared space.

The Forum has a significant role to play in strengthening the delivery and implementation of T:BUC.  Your participation, your views and your involvement in this event are crucial to us.

We look forward to welcoming you on 15 June.

You can contact Tina Poland, Community Relations Council, on 028 9022 7500 or tpoland@nicrc.org.uk , with any queries you may have about the event.  Apologies for any cross-posting.
