In partnership with the Ulster Scots Agency and the Ulster-Scots Network, Lisburn & Castlereagh City Councils Good Relations Programme facilitated five local Primary Schools within the Council area with an Ulster-Scots themed language and storytelling workshop on Wednesday 22 November 2023 at the Ballymac Hotel.
The young people were piped in with traditional Ulster Scots music to add to the ambience of the theme and the interactive session engaged the young people with a unique opportunity to learn more about the language and to celebrate the contribution which Ulster-Scots makes to life in the Council area.
They even had some keen pipers in the audience as well as a traditional Ulster Scots dance from one of the participants.
