Equity Diversity Interdependence
Promoting a Peaceful and Fair
Society based on Reconciliation
and Mutual Trust.
The Media Grant Scheme of the Community Relations Council 2011 will be available for the support of media projects. This includes television, radio, DVD, digital and web based projects for which a dissemination strategy has been developed.
Applications can focus on CRC current areas of work which include building a shared society and addressing the legacy of the past. This includes interface communities, victims and survivors, cultural diversity, young people, housing and education.
Cultural diversity includes issues in relation to minority ethnic and faith communities; marking anniversaries in public space, particularly politically significant centenaries and legacy issues such as flags, emblems and parades. A discussion on these issues is contained within Towards a Shared Society [CRC 2010] which is available on the CRC website.
One or more awards up to a total of £40,000 may be made and applications will be considered on a rolling basis on the Media Grant Application Form.
