Census 2021 Findings with Paul Nolan | Workshop & Discussion

Teens together | NICRC

The 2021 Census findings by NISRA were described as being significant. For the first time since the foundation of Northern Ireland, there were reported to be more people from a Catholic background than a Protestant background.

While this statistic was among the headlines, there were other important outcomes – not least the continued growth of those in the population who identify as “neither” or “none.”

Taken together, this represents a re-balancing of relationships between the communities and this workshop will provide an opportunity for those who are involved in peace work to view the findings in more detail and discuss their implications.

Workshop Details

This workshop will be led by Dr Paul Nolan who helped NISRA with the dissemination of the results.

It will take place on Wednesday 7 December 2022 at 10 AM in Girdwood Community Hub, Belfast.
