CSI Conference

19 October 2010

The Community Relations Council is holding a special conference on 19 October 2010, at the Stormont Hotel to discuss OFMDFM’s proposals for Cohesion, Sharing and Integration (CSI).

A programme is attached below and media are invited to attend.

The conference will be attended by community relations practitioners and will hear a presentation from CRC Chief Executive Duncan Morrow on CRC’s thoughts on the CSI proposals. This will be followed by comments from independent commentators Alex Kane and Bernadette McAliskey.  A discussion and debate among conference delegates will be followed at 1 pm by a political panel of six MLAs from different parties who will answer questions from the floor.

The discussion will be chaired by BBC’s William Crawley.

CRC will be issuing a press release later tomorrow in anticipation of its formal  response to the Consultation proposals.
