ACCREDITATION FOR PRIOR EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING (APEL)

This APEL module is a fast-track course that provides you with the opportunity to convert your community/voluntary sector experience into university credits. Along with a Portfolio of Learning Outcomes it also offers the prospect of entry into the second year of the BSc Honours Community Development.

The APEL is on Tuesday May 8 – Friday 11 + Monday 14 May 2012 at the University of Ulster’s Jordanstown Campus.

Topics covered over this intensive programme include:

• Study Skills – Learning to Learn

• Community Development Theory and Practice

• Critical Reflective Practice

• Social Policy and Research within the context of Community Development
