This special event is designed to inspire a conversation - about how we can change our communities for the better by volunteering for the common good. It is also about moving this conversation forward to see how we can achieve even more by working with unexpected partners.
Be the Change You Want is organised by a joint volunteering project funded by the Department for Social Development in Northern Ireland and the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltaght in the Republic of Ireland. A unique partnership between the GAA, Voluntary Arts Ireland, the Church of Ireland diocese of Derry & Raphoe and City Church Belfast, the project brings together a diverse partnership to promote volunteering to meet need in our community.
Our keynote speaker will be Bishop Ken Good (Church of Ireland Diocese of Derry and Raphoe). There will also be an opportunity for an open conversation, followed by lunch.
Be the Change You Want is about bringing as many diverse voices to the conversation as possible. It will therefore be an excellent networking opportunity
