Rural Community Network is carrying out a survey into community groups’ experiences of the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 as part of RCN’s work funded by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development through the Community Development Support and Advice contract. The deadline for completed survey responses is Monday 5th December at 5.00pm

The survey is aimed at grass roots groups across Northern Ireland and will explore their awareness and experience of making applications to Axis 3 of the NI Rural Development Programme.  The survey is concerned with community groups who applied to Axis 3 rather than individuals or businesses – and is also interested in finding out why groups did not consider applying to the Rural Development Programme.   The results will be used to identify barriers and tailor support to community groups so they are in a better position to submit successful applications to the RDP.
