Call out for venues to host a new multiple perspective exhibition on the conflict in and about Northern Ireland. ‘Everyday objects transformed by the conflict’ is being developed in order to to create spaces in which diverse experiences of the conflict can be heard.
Bringing together diverse narratives from the conflict this exhibition will reveal unique and poignant stories through a range of 3D and 2D objects as well as audiovisual material and artwork. Most of the objects come from collections in Northern Ireland, however, there are also contributions by collections from across the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Travelling across Northern Ireland and beyond, Healing Through Remembering is now looking for suitable venues to display this exhibition for a duration of 2-6 weeks during the months of February – August 2012. If your venue is fully accessible, has a stable and secure environment, is committed to Healing Through Remembering ethics and to engaging with communities from all different backgrounds then please contact Tríona to express your interest in hosting this exhibition.
