· Become (even!) more effective on the ground
As some of you already know, South Belfast Roundtable have been involved in the British Council Active Citizen's Programme since 2010. Some of our first group of trainees undertook a very successful exchange trip with Sudan, which proved to be very beneficial for all involved. Back in Belfast, the team continue to be in regular contact with one another, meeting up and looking for further opportunities to collaborate.
The Active Citizens Training Programme seeks participants who want to develop:
· A strong sense of their own culture and identity

· Project planning, leadership and management skills
· An attitude of responsibility towards sustainable development
· An attitude of valuing and working effectively with difference
