Committee for the OFMdFM to meet CRC

27 September 2011

Regeneration will top the agenda at The Northern Ireland Assembly Committee for the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister’s visit to Londonderry on Wednesday 28 September.

The Committee will hear from the Ilex Urban Regeneration Company and OFMDFM officials. As part of the visit, the Committee will visit the Ebrington Barracks site, which forms part of the city’s regeneration plans, at 12 noon.

Committee Members will take part in a forum discussion organised by the Community Relations Council at 2.00pm to discuss reducing conflict across communities.

The Committee will hold its formal weekly meeting at 3.00pm when it will be briefed by the Department on October Monitoring proposals.

Both the forum discussion and Committee meeting will take place in St Columb’s Park House Reconciliation and Conference Centre.

Members of the public and media are welcome to attend.
