Matching services to need in an age of austerity

23 August 2011

NICVA's Centre for Economic Empowerment (CEE) has announced another title in its series of masterclasses.

'Matching services to need in an age of austerity' will explore how Government and voluntary and community organisations face a similar challenge of increased demand for services whilst budgets are being squeezed.

Matching services to need in an age of austerity
24 February 2012, 10.30am-12.30pm at NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast BT15 2GB
Cost: FREE

This masterclass will

  • examine how we can better understand user needs to ensure cost effective and appropriate service delivery.
  • focus on the importance of data collection and appropriate data analysis to inform appropriate service provision for both government and non government providers.
  • introduce up to date analytical techniques (eg GIS, Consumer Choice Analysis) and explain along with a host of resources that can be accessed to deliver the best possible services based on user need.

The masterclass series is proving popular with the voluntary and community sector so early booking is advisable. To book your place visit www.nicva.org/events. To find out more about the CEE and the masterclass series visit www.nicva.org.
