Platform for Change is organising an event at the Black Box on 5 September, with an abridged performance by Theatre of Witness as a prelude to a discussion on dealing with the past.

On 5 September 2011, the pressure group Platform for Change is bringing the Derry-based Theatre of Witness to the Black Box in Belfast’s Hill Street. An abridged version of the acclaimed performance of personal stories of and by women from Northern Ireland’s ‘troubles’, it will stimulate a discussion of the vexed issue of Dealing with the Past—as a decade of centenaries approaches which will revisit the region's formative violent years. Performance begins at 7.30. Admission free.
