The Department is seeking your views on its proposals to fulfil its statutory duties provided in Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998. The Equality Commission for Northern Ireland have called for the Department to produce a revised Equality Scheme to replace the current scheme published in 2001.

The consultation will commence on 1 March 2011 and will last for 8 weeks closing on Tuesday 26 April 2011.
