Local Government Reform and Community Planning Workshop on Consultation Proposals

Rural Community Network and Community Places are holding a joint workshop to discuss the Local Government Reform consultation on

Thursday 24th February from 10.30am to 1pm in RCN offices, Cookstown

The Department of Environment is currently consulting on these policy proposals until Friday 11th March.  The session will have an input from Community Places on the details of the changes in relation to Community Planning.  We will also look at issues around the proposed code of conduct, ethical standards and checks and balances.  We will then have an opportunity for questions and answers and a discussion on people’s views of the proposals.
