What makes a good story hearer? And how individuals choose who they tell their stories to.
The spirit of a good story hearing - Identifying and creating the emotional space to be heard.
The role of resistance in the story - Understanding and effectively responding to blockages in the storytelling process.
Listening in 3D – exploring and developing advanced listening skills.
The Hearers’ Gift, The Hearers’ Burden – Identifying and recognising the unique qualities within all of us who listen to and hear others’ stories.
How healing works – exploring the stages to be gone through to make ‘it’ different.
Consistent with the goals of Towards Understanding and Healing, this interactive and engaging training event aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of all participants through discussion and practice of key hearing skills.
